Bettergy Awarded Phase I SBIR Contract by DOE for Carbon Capture Technology

In July 2018 Bettergy was awarded an SBIR contract by the Department of Energy to develop the company’s Integrated Multichannel Water Gas Shift Membrane Reactor for Pre-combustion Carbon Capture.  The reactor can be used for pre-combustion carbon capture in hydrogen recovery of syngas from biomass or coal gasification and in hydrogen production by natural gas steam reforming.
